Throughout May, you’ll embark on a one-of-a-kind adventure through Calgary’s Chinatown, uncovering hidden gems, discovering delicious eats, and celebrating the rich culture and tight-knit community that make our neighbourhood so special. Each week, new online and in-person challenges will be unlocked through the Goosechase app—designed to test your observation skills, cultural knowledge, and culinary curiosity as you dive deeper into the Calgary Chinatown experience. Terms of Service By participating in the Calgary Chinatown Scavenger Hunt 2025, participants acknowledge the inherent risks associated with the event, including but not limited to uneven terrain, stairs, vehicle traffic, potentially triggering historical events, and exposure to allergens. Participants are encouraged to exercise their own judgment regarding personal safety and the safety of others. Participation is open to all ages, but minors must be accompanied by an adult, who assumes responsibility for their actions, safety, and well-being during the event. Photos or videos may be taken during the event and may be shared with other participants or used for promotional purposes by the Chinatown BIA. By participating, you consent to the use of your photographs, videos, image, likeness, and any associated materials for such purposes. Participants agree to release and forever discharge the Chinatown BIA, Board of Directors, officers, contractors and successors from all claims, actions, or demands arising from or related to any damage, injury, or loss to person or property resulting from participation in the event. Participants also agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Chinatown BIA and Board of Directors, officers, contractors and against any claims arising from their actions or negligence. Participants should ensure they are physically capable of participating and assume responsibility for their own medical needs and personal belongings during the event.
